Nice Week: Homegrown Ska, Tour de Fat and World's Longest Soul Train.
Here's a chance to catch your breath after last week's non-stop calendar.
But don't rest too long. Thursday night is our third Nice Nite, and there's plenty of bike and non-bike goodliness going on thru the rest of the week.
Enjoy.

Like Two Tone Ska? Like New Belgium Beer? Like smoked-meat? Ever dreamed of them all colliding in one place and time? Then our next Nice Nite is for you. At Rye Delicatessen and Bar. There's a members-only raffle for Dralion tickets and a Just Bare grill set, special deals on beer, and general good times.

New Belgium's Tour de Fat is a national phenom - costume bike parade, eccentric entertainment, local food, and of course BEER.
-
Explore yet another unique Twin Cities neighborhood via the FLOW Northside Art Crawl. Featuring a moving stage powered by pedal (our favorite kind), tons of art, food, etc and an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for Longest Soul Train. It must be done!
-
The Walker's Summer Music and Movies 2012 kicks off with a beauty - music by the unclassifiable Night Moves, hosted by the incomparable Mary Lucia, and topped off with a screening of Hitchcock's 'Spellbound'
-
No run-of-the-mill art festival, Red Hot Art is grass roots, vibrant, diverse... oh, and us Nice Nite people will be there, handing out free bike helmets. Not to mention music, food and art art art.

OK, we've been eager to include this in our weekly calendar update... you know what, you don't need no stinkin' calendar. Make your own event out there on our Cities' incredible, vast network of bike trails. Explore the Mississippi, zoom around the parks... it's all there for you. Hundreds of miles of it.
Thanks for reading. Thanks for making this summer the best ever.
